Solid and smart. I think with the right team, he is just going to get better. Denver should have started him. Wilson is just another bad patch job and wrong for Den. Stidham is not any better

I believe that Rypien should transition to becoming the new QBs coach

Yes Brett Rypien has pulled his wait since day one he should be the starter instead of Wilson

I agree with most of what has already been written about keeping Brett Rypien as the Bronco backup. I would add that, once the O-line is solidified, the QB Whisperer that is Sean Payton will nurture Ryp into a high quality backup quarterback...which is what his role is, afterall.

Rypien is still basically a rookie and has played well for his experience. For the money he is good value. With so many other highet needs the Broncos cant afford to pay for a Baket Mayfield or equivalent.

Rypien has been there and is capable of taking over but like Russell he needs better protection front the o-line
One qb (Sloter) that was let go and now playing in the Canadian league (and playing awesome) would be a great backup to bring back

I voted know because I think it’s time we find/ draft our future QB but, Mike’s comment that if Russ can Be coached then why can’t Rypien. While I’m not a huge Rypien fan I can see why you would opt to give him another shot under yet another coach and O-Coach.

We need to find some new players and not do the same thing again and again. Rypien is not a starter but a serviceable backup. We need to take a risk on someone who could not only backup Wilson, bu replace him if he doesn’t do well. Rypien is not a starter simply because of arm strength.

He had the same coaches as Wilson with way less reps as a backup. He didn't look much worse than Wilson if any. If Wilson can be coached better so can Rypien.

I think he has proved himself as a good back up quarterback !!!!!
