Black Diamond will be testing out Automatic License Plate Readers, cameras that will take photos of plates to alert police to suspicious vehicles. Thoughts?
I don't like the idea of cameras taking pictures of my car whenever I drive by; I feel like that data could easily be misused.

I think this is a great way to increase proactive law enforcement and keep communities safe. I hope other local cities will install ALPRs.

Just so long as the cameras only take a picture of my plates, and not my face, I'm OK with it.
