I use to have two lions one was a female and one was a male and I also use to have 10 Bengal tigers and three jaguars and the lioness killed three Bengal tigers the male lion killed two tigers but the female lion did get injured. That's why a lion is stronger than a tiger.

This is a easy debate to win if you are a tiger fan. I myself use to think the lion was more dangerous than a tiger because I was blinded by the mane. However, when you break it down it's easy to see who will win most of the time. A tiger hunts alone whereas a lion hunts with the pride. So in a one on one fight the tiger is more trained. Tigers can climb trees and lions can't although they basically weigh the same. This means the tiger is more agile/nimble then the lion. Lastly, scientist have did studies which show that the tiger is more powerful then a lion. We were just taught as kids that lions were the king of the jungle just like we were taught that Pluto was a planet. We were fooled get over it.

Trust me tiger fans, lions are sooooooooo much more skillful at fighting than tigers, and even though lions are slightly smaller than the tiger, they are more powerful and they have GREAT stamina.Lions are born to fight, and anyway, the tiger is less muscular than the lion...it only looks like it's more muscular but it has a lot more fat than a lion, making it look bigger and stronger. One swift paw strike to a tiger from a lion and the tiger would probably back down from the fight...(it's a matter of opinion). You still have time to change your minds tiger fans, because everyone knows a lion is the king of beasts......

Now, let's refer to the lion and tiger's strengths and weaknesses. A key feature in a fight is speed. Being cats, both tigers and lions use amazing speed when fighting. But when it comes down to it, the tiger is clearly faster. Like I said before, if you have seen a tiger fight before, you probably noticed the rapid speed they swipe and throw punches with. This is one of the tiger's strengths. It also has another advantage: accuracy and evasiveness. Tigers are more accurate when they strike, and they are also better at dodging opponent's blows. Note that a lion's mane slows it down during a fight, which is why the agility and evasiveness are the tiger's advantages. And of coarse, there is the case of the lion's mane. You do not see a house cat beating a German shepherd, because even though cats move faster and more fiercely, the dog is simply much, much bigger. Basically, size DOES matter. But a Bengal tiger isn't THAT much bigger than a lion, so in this case, power and skill are the most important things. Many people think that the lion is stronger than the tiger because they appear to be more muscular. Yeah the lion would win most of da battles. Why? He is much faster with 57-60% muscle. The siberian tiger is the biggest tiger beneath the bengal toger. They are a bit longer than lions but a lion has up to 20 cm bigger shoulder height. Tha siberian tiger has 27-50% fat, he needs it to survive in his cold area. Also a lion is much more battleproved, as already mentioned he plays fightinggames since he is born. The lion is born to kill, the tiger is born to stalk ^^. Lions have much more stamina because they don't have as much fat as a tiger. The lions used in Videos are most unexperienced, young asian lions, fighting against adult bengal tigers. The lions dominate the tigers in nearly each case - the tigerfans cry "aww it was just a bengal iger if he had to fight against a siberian tiger the lion had no chance". Haha good joke! Siberian tigers aren't as strong as bengal tigers, their limbs look bigger...because 5 cm of fat covers his muscle, take it away ant his limbs are 10 cm smaller...nothing compared to the lions'. Tigerfans always say that the tiger is the king...but theyxNEVER say, why. And, another big mistake of tigerfans is saying the lion can only hunt in the pride,alone he is too weak...but everything about this is mentioned before...except that they get experienced in this way, too. I feel the Lion would win (given the same basic size and strength), because the Lion has so much more competition in Africa, than the Tiger has in India. LMFAO, all the tiger fans on this site are really stupid :P!! A lion gets bigger and is stronger then a bengal and siberian tiger. Why? Because in the wild tigers make a kill every 2-4 times out of 20 tries and im being generous saying 2-4. A lion will make a kill every 8-9 times out of 20 tries. It doesnt matter if a lion has a pride cuz even nomade (lone) male and female lions will make more kills then tigers cuz its in the brain to hunt alot. Tigers can take down gaurs alone and lions can take down cape buffalo. Gaurs maybe alittle bigger then cape buffalo but cape buffalo are MUCH more aggressive so lions are in more danger when hunting then tigers. Also lions fight more and are better fighters because they have to protect a WHOLE pride and can fight to the death alot more often. Tigers dont fight that much at all because one injury will cost its life. Lion wins most of the time if not all the time.

Man in the video it may look like the lion is losing as it is on its back but that is how lions prefer to fight. The tiger does win in this clip in the end as it gives the lion a good smack but it is a female lion though which is much smaller than the male. I think a male lion would beat a tiger of similar weight but not a Siberian tiger.

This is a easy debate to win if you are a tiger fan. I myself use to think the lion was more dangerous than a tiger because I was blinded by the mane. However, when you break it down it's easy to see who will win most of the time. A tiger hunts alone whereas a lion hunts with the pride. So in a one on one fight the tiger is more trained. Tigers can climb trees and lions can't although they basically weigh the same. This means the tiger is more agile/nimble then the lion. Lastly, scientist have did studies which show that the tiger is more powerful then a lion. We were just taught as kids that lions were the king of the jungle just like we were taught that Pluto was a planet. We were fooled get over it.

Because in the wild tigers make a kill every 2-4 times out of 20 tries and im being generous saying 2-4. A lion will make a kill every 8-9 times out of 20 tries. It doesnt matter if a lion has a pride cuz even nomade (lone) male and female lions will make more kills then tigers cuz its in the brain to hunt alot. Tigers can take down gaurs alone and lions can take down cape buffalo. Gaurs maybe alittle bigger then cape buffalo but cape buffalo are MUCH more aggressive so lions are in more danger when hunting then tigers. Also lions fight more and are better fighters because they have to protect a WHOLE pride and can fight to the death alot more often. Tigers dont fight that much at all because one injury will cost its life. Lion wins most of the time if not all the time.
