Cam Smith with a 1st round pick? He is rated as the 10th best CB in this draft and should go in the third round. If that is true why even look at the rest of the picks. Artie Burns, the sequel.......

Not too keen on this draft. My "perfect" draft would be:
1- Devon Witherspoon CB
2A- Darnell Wright T
2B- Calijah Cancey DT
3- Jack Campbell ILB
After that go for your wide outs etc

WR is not a priority, certainly not twice in the same draft! OT, ILB, CB, DL, S. WR if someone falls that we can't pass up.

Cam Smith looks like a fit for the Steelers soft zone, but at 17 it seems like a bit of a stretch. Maybe they could trade down and gain some extra draft capital and still get him like they did with Casey Hampton. They traded pick 16 for pick 19 and got a 4th and 6th rnd pick for dropping just 3 spots. C Luke Wypler in the 4th seems like a good value. I'm not sold on Wright or Ika as anything other than average 2nd rnd picks serviceable for the pick but not great value. I see Kayshon Boutte as a bad pick. There will be a lot of WR available in the 3rd still and he would be at the bottom of my list. Plenty of pro analysts say he'll be good I just have a bad feeling about him. I'd rather see Marvin Mims, Rashee Rice, or Elijah Higgins.

No to drafting Artie Burns again on the First Round or basically a hit or miss starting CB…. Choose on the 1st pick a sure 3 down starter…. OT, WR, TE, ILB… not a major gamble like Burns & Edmunds… not another routine Colbert draft.. We need speed & stud draft picks!!! No gambles..
The Steelers could either move up or go down a few picks & then pick up another 2nd or 3rd round picks. Need GM to make solid picks in this draft…

I fail to grasp the concept of using so many picks on WR. Also a high pick on a DL that would only be on the field for 2 downs. This team has needs that must be addressed and most of these articles read like a child's Christmas wish list. CB, OT, OLB DL & ILB are paramount. WR not so much. Yet this mock has 2???

Yeah would like a MLB but you can’t get everything quality all at once. Never heard of later round guys but would have liked a 3rd string qb like guy from TCU who seems like a hard nosed gutty player. Love the first 3 picks especially siaki as later pick.
