Everyone judges every single person like they have never made a mistake in life. If you don’t give someone a second chance then what kind of world would this be. I say take him and guide him in the right direction.

Carter is a generational player and would bring quality at the 3-tech and be Cam's heir. One drag race, where he wouldn't go to jail under Georgia law, will not stop them from taking him. Taking Witherspoon over him as I have seen a couple times is beyond ridiculous.
