I haven't seen a bigger blown lead since the Falcons meltdown against the Patriots in Super Bowl LI. How on earth did Sam screw this up so badly after that number 1 pick? If we're playing by incinerator rules, I'm so sad that I won't get to enjoy Lebowski alongside all of Brett's fine picks.

Sam's punishment should be to watch ALL of the Adam Sandler movies prediction bracket losers have had to watch since Filmspotting Madness started.

I don't know why Adam is losing this poll! Using the Film Festival methodology, i would watch all 5 of Adam's selections in a single day! (Sheepishly, i admit that 3 of the 5 would be first time watches for me...) But everyone else's selections have at least 1 film i do not need to see (again).

It's wild that Sam had a great thing going and good positioning to hold on... only to then actively sabotage his own list.

I had to go with Sam.
Despite the very unfortunate choices of Armageddon and the terrible Psycho mistake...I mean remake...
He has Lebowski first of all and who can argue with that. He also has one of Spike Lee's best films. But most of all he has The thin red line, the film that should have won the Oscar, far superior in scope and storytelling and images etc...to Saving Private Ryan which yes it has an unforgettable opening but a very forgettable 2h20m after that. Malick's WWII film in the Pacific is so much more than a war film, it is an journey of self discovery amidst the madness of a terrible conflict. The cinematography is stunning and ok Jim Caviezel is much more good looking than Hanks.
I admired Josh's choice of Babe which I adore and I am with Adam on Shakespeare in Love. 1998 was a great year of cinema. Great show by the way. It made me smile and laugh a lot!

Bravo Brett! Hopefully you will be awarded for your athletic efforts with a permanent spot on all future drafts. You could perhaps represent the entire Filmspotting Family (who would kill for the opportunity) and let Josh have a night off. His lack of enthusiasm make parts of these ‘bonus’ shows about as fun to sit through as Van Sant’s ‘Psycho’ (cheap shot, sorry Sam). Thankfully your insights blended perfectly with Adam & Sam’s to help push the balance in a more positive, less awkward/cantankerous tone. Thank you (and cheer up Josh - you had fun once and I’m sure you will again one day. I doubt you’ll win a draft though…..I mean, Babe 2?! ????)
