I ended up doing couch to 5k and eventually training to run a marathon simply because I was addicted to Pokemon Go. I do a lot of calorie/weight tracking as well.
A mobile application called Reframe was critical to helping me with alcohol cessation and lifetime sobriety. I am using Zero for intermittent fasting and weight loss currently.

Apple watch actually. Had a 550+ days streak to complete all three rings (activity, movement, exercise), and lost 30lb in the process. Lost my streak when I had to jump on a 15+hr flight to India

Yes, I have used Strava religiously for the past 6 years. I’ve done over 5000 miles of human powered activities each year.

Yes, I use the Health app on iPhone to monitor activity, including Mobility metrics. Also, use Microlife app for monitoring BP/HR, MyFitness Pal to log weight and exercise, MapMyWalk to log walking activity, and several other apps that provide exercise menus and health guidance.

Yes, I have been using MyFitnessPal from my cell phone daily for 12 years and it has helped me track the calories I was eating - which I didn't understand before.
