Ashby Zubchevich - La Canada High School (California) - Ashby Zubchevich is consistently one of the top hitters in the state of California when it comes to # of kills, kill percentage and hitting percentage and this week, she had an extremely impressive week adding to her already top stats. (ranked #1 Junior in CA Div 1/2 in #kills & ranked #10 in California in #kills all grades all divisions all positions, ranked #4 in league hitting %, top 15 hitting % in California Div 1/2) In the Aug 28th game versus Hart, Ashby had 18 kills, half of her team's total number of kills. She had a 72% kill percentage, .480 hitting % with an average of 6 kills per set plus 3 aces, 4 digs, and 2 blocks. She led her team to a 3-0 win vs Hart High School. Named Player of the Match by MaxPreps. Within the same week in the Aug 31st game vs Chaminade, Ashby chalked up 20 kills, 12 digs, 2 blocks and the highest serve receive rating along with the libero.

Sophia Wendlick - Divine Savior Holy Angels (Wisconsin) - Sophia was an impact player for DSHA's first tournament win. The Dashers won the 24 Team Homestead Joust Tournament, a long standing tournament in the state of WI. Sophia helped the team to a 7-0 weekend, and tallied 67 kills, 26 digs, 5 total blocks and 11 aces.

Madison Anspaugh - Rockford Christian HS (Illinois) - Madison has followed up her All-Conference Freshman year on varsity by leading her team to a 5-0-1 start and winning first varsity tournament of the year. After the first week of competition, she's leading the team in numerous statistical categories including: Kills: 4.7/set Kills: 56 Aces: 11 Aces per Set: .9/set Receptions: 61 And second in numerous others, including: Assists: 3 Blocks: 6 Hitting percentage: .248 All as a sophomore on the varsity team to start the year.

Jordin Southall - Osceola High School(Florida) - Jordin had 22 kills of 28 attempts with 0 errors for a .786 percentage hitting rate. She currently leads the State of a Florida for hitting percentage and is as of last week was 3rd in kills for the State. All this as a sophomore. She was also selected as Player of the Game.

Samantha Soderlund - Seacrest Country Day School (Florida) - Soderlund led Seacrest Country Day School to a 3-0 (9-0) record this past week, hitting a team-high .411 with 30 kills and leading also with 9 service aces. The 6’2 6-rotation pin has her team ranked #1 in the State among all classes according to MaxPreps. Soderlund’s 16s team won the AAU Premier Division National Championship this past June.

Skyye Frailey - Troy Athens HS (Michigan) - "During 6 matches at the Cross-Lex tournament she never came off the court. Not for one second or not for one play. 6 full matches. Her team went 5-1. Skyye plays a six position Outside hitter and is a superstar!! She plays on the 16-1 club team out of Brighton, L2, this year and last. With six previous years on Legacy’s top adidas teams. Skyye began playing volleyball at age 8. She plays tonight at Troy Athens HS at 530 pm, it’s a Quad tourney. She is 100% deserving of this honor.

Kameron Stover - Highland (Ohio) - Kameron had 48 kills in a 5 set win over Jonathan Alder, with 25 digs, 4 aces and 4 blocks. The 48 kills are a new school record (beating the 44 of Raina Terry (U of Illinois) in 2017) and is 3rd in Ohio volleyball history.

Izzy Herrbold - Helias Catholic (Missouri) - Izzy participated with her team in the Windsor Tournament. Izzy is the libero on the Helias Varsity team out of a Jefferson City, MO. In the 5 matches they played on Saturday, Izzy racked up a total of 86 digs, 4 aces, 30 service points, 16 assists, and 93 service receptions. Izzy had a remarkable 39 digs in the championship match to help lead her team to win the championship!! She was also named to the All Tournament Team for the tournament.

Suli Davis - Colleyville Heritage High School (Texas) - Suli Davis had 32 Kills 20 assists 20 digs against Byron Nelson, ranked #14 in the nation. Byron Nelson was ranked #2 in Texas for 6A schools. Colleyville Heritage was ranked #1 in 5A schools in Texas. They beat Byron last night. This was the match of the week in Texas to watch. Over the weekend Colleyville was one of two 5A schools that participated in the Volley Palooza tournament and made it to the silver bracket. They beat 6A Prosper High school with a Nebraska commit. Suli helped lead the team throughout the tournament and was named on the All Tournament team. As a OH/S she is dominating the court along with unbelievable digs saving and hustling all over the floor.

Avery Weslow - Forest Hills Central (Michigan) - In a 60 kill hitting .302 performance with 40 digs. On the weekend, Avery Weslow surpassed not only 1,000 career kills but 1,000 career digs! Weslow is uncommitted and played on the Emperors cup 18 Open winning and 5th place 17 Open Far Out squad over the summer.

Lauren Garcia - San Antonio Reagan (Texas) - Lauren helped her team to a 6-2 record at the Volleypalooza Tournament in Leander Texas. Lauren tallied 115 assists, 67 kills, 52 digs, and 14 aces for the weekend. Lauren received the San Antonio Express News Game Ball for her weekend efforts on 8/28. She was named to the AVCA Phenom Watchlist on 8/28, and was also named to prepvolleyball.coms 2027 watchlist for outside and right side hitters on 8/28.
