Similar to Bob A, I also like this question, as I think that it does speak to what really matters. However, I would also point out that my household of cats, as expansive as it is, has little need for an ERP, EHR, or a cloud hosting strategy. This limits my willingness to invest personally in such a conference.

This is a great question. To me, it speak to the real value attendees and/or companies are getting out of these events. In managing budgets and trying to be a good steward of company resources, one of the questions I ask myself when for any spend is "Would I do it if it was my money?" I understand there are many ways to get value. But I like this question . .
Just because HIMSS has the greatest networking potential. And because they probably do have a cat oriented EHR there somewhere.
