I really like the humor of the first one. You said it fits you and your fiance more. Plus, it's a save the date card, not the invite, so I think a more light-hearted card is perfectly acceptable.
Very cute cards. I have volunteered to make my son's wedding invitations and have been considering the various kinds of "formal" invitations with vellum and scrolly script and the usual pomp and circumstance. But why not make the invitation like a card, like yours? I love them both. Thanks for the inspiration! Will you be enclosing a reply card and envelope with these?
