First I volunteer because I can. It may seem like a simple answer but how many people with time on their hands choose to volunteer (90% of people think about doing it-10% actually do volunteer)
Second, I think me and my family have been blessed with health and wealth anfd all the privileges that comes with it, and it's only natural that we try to help those who aren't as fortunate as us.

My main reason is not up there - I volunteer because it makes me happy. :)
