I love cars and always had hot wheels, a BMW when I had money, an English sports car when I didn't (there are cheap here compared to Europe) or character cars like the Fiero SE, which all kids mistook for a Ferrari, which I bought at an auction when I was broke. Looking for a "cool" car in 2006 I bought the 2007 Camry Hybrid. It came closest to the looks of European elite cars. That's what I'll do: I'd always vote for the Hybrids de Luxe, re-defining luxury on the way.

Some individuals at work will persecute Green people. You have to be careful sometimes.

I'm with you, Nick. I ride my bike or transit for 90% of my trips, and I own a scooter for the minority of trips where the others are unpractical. However, I like to use stickers, such as on my bike - "One Less Car", and I think i'm going to put one on the back of my scooter helmet as well - "90 MPG / One Less Car". But I do this for the purpose of influencing others to think outside the car.

I don't care if it's a Camry or Prius or whatever. When I'm riding behind them on my bike they both smell the same when they're burning fuel. I gave up my car in 2001 and have been walking, biking, busing and carpooling since.

I haven't had any influence on my family, they still use a car and don't bike. In fact sometimes they insist that I drive them places.
