In an ideal world, it wouldn't be an either/or situation. Video alone is totally inefficient. I won't even waste my time to try to llook. Having text that gives a high level overview with additional detail oriented text on specific features is ideal, with screenshots included as indicated. Having brief video supplements to allow readers to visualize key features is an added bonus but it should be clear upfront what the video content will be. Watching a video that turns out to be nothing but a glorified uninformative advertisement will not win any points with me! And if I hear "Day in the Life" one more time, I'll need a new supply of Zofran!!!
