I love Usher but I don’t like how any of the halftime performers feel like they have to fit 1 million songs under 20 minutes. I wished he honed in on some of his classics, like he did at the end. I liked the guest stars, however.

America has such super talent, yet we continue to use halftime musical entertainment that’s not uplifting, diverse, or supportive of our country values. Usher’s routine wasn’t exciting, understandable, or memorable and he is talented. What oversight was there from the NFL?
If there’s ever an honest effort to put together a National anthem like Whitney’s that addresses our country and all it’s citizens and a halftime geared toward quality music, of several venues, it would be an amazing reception. Get some damn guts.
