Fingers crossed for the La Strada/Cabiria showdown.
Another type of Fellini on Fellini

All-time great endings seem to be a theme with the voting this year. I watched Nights of Cabiria last month in preparation for the tournament. A mind-blowingly great and devastating movie.

I watched both of these movies in preparation for this year's Madness. Loved them both, but Nights of Cabiria sticks to my bones.

This one killed me right out of the gate. I love both movies and I’m currently on a Fellini deep dive. While both are on my top 4 on Letterboxd I have to go with Anatomy since it takes place in the town were I was born, Marquette MI.
I now live in St Paul MN and have tickets for 8 1/2 at the Italian film festival this weekend.

Re-watched Nights of Cabiria recently and it wrecked me by the end. So beautiful and heartbreaking.
