I do not have a TikTok account but, I believe it should be up to parents to determine if their children should have access to TikTok, NOT the government. I understand that there is information people don’t like, but isn’t that true of all social media? I don’t want the government having widespread control to say yes or no to this or any social media. I agree with banning TikTok or any social media from company owned or government owned phones, but we must keep the government out of our personal lives and decisions. I understand the argument that China may be stealing, or have access to, your personal information. If you have that fear, don’t create an account.

A lot of singers use Tik Tok to launch their music careers. There are are both good and bad elements no matter what type of social media is used.
If there is a way to restrict the sharing of personal information that might help.
Banning it is not a good idea.

I see both sides of this but, this app has caused so many deaths, pandering affirmative care to our youth. I belive this is where it should stop though, the government needs to stop at this app.

Beware of Bills backed by Dems and Republicans! Tik TOK is not being removed it is going for Sale, Rumble, and Mr Wonderful among others are wanting to purchase it.
Do we really want a President to have the power to tell us what apps can be on our Phone and platforms we can visit?? No! I am no fan of Tik TOK but this is a slippery slope. Think Patriot act! And what they now do to us in the name of Terrorism bunch of BS. Charlie Kirk said it best this AM. I agree with his Opinion on this.

I do not use tiktok but I am reading alot about it and the bill and it doesn’t just ban tiltok it gives our government lead-way to shut off anything they deem shifty, for lack of a better word, it is my understanding that most of tiktok is NOT owned by china…. but I am still digging and looking into this one…

I don't support this ban. People use this app for their business. I lost my dad a year and half ago and I would get on this app and I met some of the sweetest people that help me in the worst time of my life.

I personally am not on TicTok, but even I know the a good chunk of evil filth are gunning for our children on this piticular site. That has NOTHING to do with our free speech.
