I believe that the best releases of new, newer music was during the 7os, 80s, and 90s, where it had better beats, words, and rhythms and grooups such as CROSBIE, STILLS, NASH AND YOUNG, Foreigner, and soo many other groups and individual artists. Just take the song, In the middle of the, and now I can't remember if, but it might have been something like Moonlight Rising, or something, which was soo smooth, moody, and magical, and took place in or somewhere around New Orleans, and I'll love it til the day I die. That period was the best and greatest musical period.

I love most music, but prefer to listen to music what is now called classic rock. I don't like angry lyrics or lyrics I can't understand. Sixty/Seventies seemed to have the greatest music, in my opinion. But that's probably because that was what I listened to growing up. Gonna get off here...I got a need to listen to some Bob Seger...later!

I prefer listening to music from the 70’s , especially easy listening, when you could hear and understand the lyrics. I could listen to Van Morrison all day!

I have favorites in many categories, from big band to rock to country. No one genre is sufficient.

Christian music is all I listen to now. It can be called gospel rock too. So many great artists

I like easy listening, pop of the 50’s and 60’s, some 70’s, some country as long as it’s not too twangy and music from various musicals (show tunes).

Yes my favorite wasn’t on the list either. My favorite music is wide ranged. NO RAP!! Most of the popular songs of today I don’t listen to and I’ve never been a whiny country/bluegrass fan. My favorite thought is Christian praise and worship including gospel. Then good old Rock n Roll!

Why is gospel music not on the list?
