Yeah Im out...Everything dont gotta be gay, Buck roles was great they pushing this so hard, why no gay characters ever become straight? They destroy storylines after 6 seasons for no reason.

  • Tom - 2 months ago

I'm out! tired of every show these days pushing and pushing hard the gay storyline - we get it - its real - there are gay people in the world! go back to the saving people story line. Buck was the heartthrob firefighter that all the girls wanted and he was good at it. Now he's gay - doesn't make sense - you've lost me.

  • Dust - 2 months ago

This show has gone off the rails. So tired of everything being pushed into the gay column. And, while I can barely tolerate lesbians, I ABSOLUTELY draw the line at gay men and anal sex. So, goodbye 9/11, maybe find a home on Pride TV

  • Kathy B - 2 months ago

Okay, before I get labeled as homophobic, 100% not the case. That being said, there is a lot of inclusion on this show already. We have two mixed couple, a gay couple, a gay dispatcher, a single dad...I don’t know why Buck can't remain in his original role as a womanizer and get a taste of his own medicine as a plot. Why does everyone have to be gay or bi? It's like same race, opposite sex, average couples have become the new shocker...these couples do exist you know. Wouldn't hate seeing that portrayed.

I'm done. I will never watch again. 911 has been removed from my DVR. I WAITED ALL THIS TIME FOR THIS? I was scared when channel 11 canceled and was glad when it picked up but not anymore. I will never watch another rosie again

  • Deanda - 2 months ago

    I'm not watching anymore
    Goodbye 911.

  • V Bolden - 2 months ago

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED 911 I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IT GOT CANCELLED AT FOX BUT WAS SO GLAD ABC PICKED IT UP AND ITS RENEWED FOR ANOTHER SEASON SO ALL I AM GOING TO SAY IS FOX WOULD HAVE NEVER LET THE 100TH EPISODE GO OUT LIKE THAT ABC YOU ARE SO WRONG AND BETTER GET IT TOGETHER AND GET IT RIGHT BEFORE YOU LOSE VIEWERS. BUCK IS NOT GAY OR BI THAT WAS SO DISGUSTING AND BRING OLD HARRY BACK THE NEW ONE CAN NOT ACT AND FAR TO OLD.

Pure trash wanting to push a deviant agenda by changing Buck into a deviant. Sad Ben watching since the beginning and walking away after this trash

I couldn't believe What I watched last night. Did they change the Writers?? Buck a womanizer Who helped his friends to have a baby,, Plus he dated Abby, Tara and kissed Lucy being Gay. Come on people. Let's all also mentioned the part of Anthena couldn't recognize her own son. Are they're trying to kill the show since its on ABC? The other episodes were alright but last night Sucks!

  • mills - 2 months ago

i think some people here have never met a bisexual person. buck is almost a stereotype of half of my bisexual friends. very manly so you’d never expect it, and one day they’re like hi this is my boyfriend and you go wait.. are you queer and they go ‘yeah i thought you knew’. most of my bisexual friends date mostly the opposite gender even after coming out, so for someone who always feels like he didn’t know himself, to come to this moment where something clicks into place, it’s perfect and i’m so glad we see him just kind of accept it in the moment. he might panic later, he might not. i didn’t panic i just relaxed into it, my only panic was coming out but i know people who had full breakdowns because this isn’t who they’ve always thought they are and it’s a whole mindset shift.

anyway, i adore this episode and can’t wait for the next one! the hiatus is going to be a struggle for me i just know it!

  • Freya - 2 months ago

So disappointed in the show. My husband and I was watching it and neither of us didn't like it at all. Anthena not recognizing her own son. Then Buck being gay. Come on people. I really like the show, but last night was unbelievable. I wish they made it as a dream or something. If they continue on making Buck Gay I will not be watching it. I don't have nothing against gays but changing his love interest was insane. I watched when Buck was in love with Abby , when he kiss Lucy and was with Tara

  • Cheree - 2 months ago

WHY?? Why in the world would you turn a VERY manly, straight character gay?? It makes zero sense, and felt very forced. The ACTUAL Buck that we all know and love, would have pushed Tommy away and said, “Hey man, I’m straight.”
Unbelievable….Like there aren’t enough “gay” storylines in this show…
So disappointed, but not unexpected from Hollyweird.

  • Peter - 2 months ago

I am not homophobic. I read through some of the comments. Enough is enough! There has been a gay couple day 1, as mentioned but let us remember Athena’s husband left her for another man. Now Buck. Why is most of the show centered around homosexuality or bisexuality. I’m disappointed with Angela Bassett. Are the writers still on strike. Really, enough is enough.

  • April - 2 months ago

People are saying show turned gay because Buck kissed a man wasn’t it a lesbian couple on here since day one ????

  • Orlando - 2 months ago

This is bullshit I been a fan since day 1 I put my wife on this show she fell in love with it now after this episode we both said he'll naw at the same time an change the station why make buck gay this wZ one show a family can watch not kno more yah than fuk up the whole series with this I don't have no problem with gay ppl this just not write we can watch no TV shows without sm gay going on u don't have to have gay in everything.

  • Ceege - 2 months ago

Some of y'all need to re-read the dictionary definition of bisexual. One can be bisexual and still be a 'ladies man.". Some of y'all should also go back and look at some of the mega-bromance of Byck and Eddie when you say there was nothing in the character to hint at him liking guys Shippers have been saying for years that the show gay-baits because it teased TOO much.

That said, neither actor was very convincing. Zero chemistey there. As always with these 9-1-1 shows (I guess understandably), any character growth likes this feels more like a plot twist than an actual evolution of discovery a out character. A little more lead-up might have helped

  • Ennie - 2 months ago

Actually loved this episode, minus the recast. Especially loved that they FINALLY followed through on all those little moments that made you question Buck. I know other comments say there's been nothing, but the man has always had a air of bisexual to him. I picked up on it early season 2... And it's nice to get a story line of a non-teenager realising maybe they're not as straight as they always thought. It's almost always young people questioning. Adults in the LGBTQIA+ community are almost always portrayed as already well aware of their sexuality. This is a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to see where they take it. Hopefully they do us bisexuals justice :)

  • Ann - 2 months ago

Totally agree with everything Tom said. I watch this from very first episode and Buck was a ladies man why did they to change it to him being gay. Stop forcing this on America. No matter how much you force it is not NORMAL! It will always take man and woman to procreate ABC STOP end this madness!

  • Kyra - 2 months ago

I am not interested in Tommy and Buck or their story (actually there is no story because Tommy was there for a minute then interacted mostly with Eddie only to kiss Buck at the end. Weak storytelling) It is a slap into the face of every true Buddie shipper (and not these fake shippers who already eat up this nonsense ). They are really going to settle, allow years of toxic queerbait and accept pairing Buck with a troubling character (a former racist, woman hater…watch the Season 1 Tommy and then we can talk again). This is exactly what Tim wants. Let me give you this, so that they stop asking for Buddie. It is DISGUSTING. I wish we would have gotten Buddie, because Buddie is beautiful, but this here is just dumb and painful to watch.

  • manisha - 2 months ago

Flat out, every negative comment on this episode are just nasty people who refuse to accept that not everyone is the same. Just say you’re homophobic and move on. Stop watching the show. I assure you, you won’t be missed and the fandom never wanted you anyway. Good day. BUDDIE ENDGAME.

  • Brin - 2 months ago

This storyline resonated with me and I hope it can give hope to anyone struggling with their sexuality, you are not alone. When you know, you know. Big thanks to Oliver Stark for helping create, play and help mend the character Evan Buckley I know today, I'm so proud of both of them.

  • Shawna - 2 months ago

Buck was a heart throb. Now that has been taken away.

  • GC - 2 months ago

I laugh at all you whining about Bucks character realizing he had different sexual feelings for others outside the opposite sex! Cmon, this has been a long time coming and for those of you who are only looking at the “Gay” aspect of this and crying because you don’t like gays or that you just don’t want this character to be Gay or it doesn’t make sense that this character would choose this lifestyle in which don’t even get me started there but in any case…this is not something that just happened with this character this has been there for a long time! Yes, Buck was a skirt chaser and always went after women but how many of these women stuck? How many failed female relationships did he have? Every single one of them!!! Right there showed that something else was there and that there was a reason he couldn’t stay in a heterosexual relationship! This was not a spontaneous decision that the writers just decided to turn Buck bi curious overnight…the writing has been on the wall for a very long time…you all were just to blind to see it! The writers did a great job with this and the actor did a great job in making this transition…it actually felt very right and I am happy for Buck that he is finally able to be open with his sexuality something again that was coming for a long time if you actually bothered to read between the lines. I’m all for it!!

  • Sandy - 2 months ago

Well after this last episode I’m done. Pisses me off that gays have taken over the world

  • Tom - 2 months ago

I'm done with this show and ABC. This homosexuality is getting out of hand. You took a decent family show and ruined it. Forcing America to accept homosexuality is not going to work by making every cast member gay. What's next Eddie is going to identify himself as a frog. America it's time to boycott ABC. Enough is enough.

  • R M B - 2 months ago

So DISAPPOINTED I literally couldn't believe it. Why?? When is enough enough? You all went so far off the beaten path with that there was legit no need for it. I guess when you have no content you grasp at straws.

  • Toni - 2 months ago

I’ve been a loyal fan since season one. Now all of a sudden you want to make Buck gay or bisexual. This is very disappointing. Please don’t do this to us. We have enough gay/bisexual characters on television to last us a lifetime. Don’t make me stop watching a show that I’ve loved for years.

  • Susan - 2 months ago

Done with this show. Already had gay couples. Now shoving more down our throats. Way off script for a 9-1-1 show.

  • Lola - 2 months ago

These homophobic comments are EXCATLY why we as a community NEED rep, I can't express the amount of grattitude have for ABC and Oliver Stark for bringing this storyline to light, it was handled with such care and I truly have ZERO COMPLAINTS. The fact Oliver Stark truly understands and respects the character he plays that makes this storyline so much more impactful and real. PLUS Tommy??? His character arc is spectacular, the flashblack with the hurtful homophobic remarks in the workplace, his longing for the firehouse that feels like a family it makes sense given his work envirnment FELT LIKE THIS COMMENT SECTION. I can't wait to see what 9-1-1 gives us next that you guys will only have something bad to say about because you're clearly allergic to happiness. Another thing I loved about this episode is the light bulb moment you can read on buck's face, that moment of realization most people questioning their sexuality can relate to, it's like being able to unlock a door that's never been there before but now it is, and you have the key. The sigh of relief. You feel lighter. A weight has been lifted, when was the weight there? Oh it's always been there, holding you down. What you people need to realize is that queer people HAVE ALWAYS been queer and oh?????? BISEXUAL PEOPLE EXIST!
Send with love by a lesbian

  • Susan - 2 months ago

I'm done watching 9-1-1. Buck gay , come on.

  • Amy - 2 months ago

Cannot believe that Buck is gay. He's been chasing girls since day 1, he was even reprimanded because he took the firetruck to pick up girls!! Now this? It doesn't make sense at all. He's never even hinted that he even had an attraction to men at all. It's always been all about women with him. If he had shown some interest prior to that episode last night, that he was down with being bisexual, that would have been a whole different situation. It felt sooooo forced that it was just unreal. And from the previews for next week, it looks like Eddie is all for Buck being gay? I mean seriously, wouldn't you think that Hen would have picked up on Buck being gay, or Bobby, or at least his own sister Maddie for crying out loud...

  • Judy - 2 months ago

Removing 911 from recording this series. I watched it from Day 1. Never had an issue with Hen’s sexuality, but turning Buck’s sexuality to being bi-sexual is going overboard to appease the liberals. I’m tired of all these “woke” issues being shoved down our throats. That’s why I quit watching SWAT when a member of the SWAT team became involved with a married couple having a three-person relationship. When will all this stop?

  • Megan - 2 months ago

Why push the gay stuff, my family is done watching this show.

  • John Strika - 2 months ago

I'm done with this show. Just once, we finally didn't have a gay due jammed down our throat and they proceed to turn the most masculine guy on the show. 911:Woke, I mean Lone Star, wasn't enough?

  • Chris - 2 months ago

There are some great gay characters in this series, so our dislike of this episode is not anti-gay, it's anti bad writing. If you want to make an obviously heterosexual character into a gay character, don't do it all at once. Show over several episodes that his previous heterosexual behaviour is the result of some inner conflict. 9-1-1 was a great show, but lately they seem to be going for over the top drama.

  • Jojo - 2 months ago

This episode was very offensive to me only 4% of the population is gay so why is it being rammed down 96% of the populations throats. I am done watching 911 and station19 and quit watching grays anatomy years ago. Give them their own channel and leave straight people alone

  • Ron Sherman - 2 months ago

Whatever happened to shows from the 80's? Wholesome shows. Doesn't anyone know how to make a show that is interesting and keeps your attention without blasting the audience with leftist ideas that are destroying the backbone of this country. The family. When the family goes, we are in trouble.

  • Alice - 2 months ago

Stop. You've just lost a devoted viewer

  • Cheri - 2 months ago

Enough already ABC!! I quit watching Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy because of the same-sex relationships being shoved in my face! I believe in "to each his own" but not in my living room! And now you take a hetero male and give him a boyfriend?? I'm done with ABC on Thursday night.

  • Patty - 2 months ago

911 has always been one of my favorite shows. ABC, you blew it!
Making "Buck, the girl chasing romantic!" of the show suddenly turn "GAY!" Just the wrong thing to do!!! I watched this and said, oh no, now their going to ruin this program too! I'm not against same sex relationships, but doesn't need to be pushed into every tv program! Ladder19, I quit watching! I love Hen and her partner, on 911, but leave "Buck!" alone!!! Liked him as the "women chasing "Buck" we all grew to love!!! Figure out a way to undo the damage done!

  • Brian - 2 months ago

ABC trying to bring a sensationalized 100th episode might have just caused the death of the series. Everyone was waiting for his next level of growth through another "hetero" relationship. How is it supposed to be believable that Buck goes from season 1 falling in love with an older woman who was helping to save him and his career, to him chasing after some penis now?? What next Eddie is going to join in and it becomes a throuple? Is Chim going to consider a sex change? The cliff hanger or surprise should have been Buck and the pilot being seen getting in the chopper flying to Vegas and then Buck being shown at an altar getting married. If they left us thinking he was there with the pilot and then the next episode it is showing him marrying one of the women from the bachelor, that would have been a better storyline than this unbelievable and unwanted mess!

  • Lana - 2 months ago

We are big fans of this show. But really changing Buck’s character to gay… Really, he’s been chasing women since the beginning and there were NO signs of him being gay. It would have been better to introduce another character that was gay if that was the show’s intention.

  • Tuere - 2 months ago

911 is going downhill. Buck’s character as being gay is so unreal, whatever happened to ‘I was born this way’ now all of a sudden you can choose to be gay. Buck never showed any signs of him being gay now ????????, come on with the story writing!!

  • Evelyn - 2 months ago

I loved this show from the beginning, I stayed a fan hoping it would stay as it was. Sadly that is not the case. For some time I have seen it declining, and I agree with the comments made here. I am just done with 911.

  • Sammie - 2 months ago

I really didn't like the Harry recast at all!! At least they could have made it SEEM like it was "our" Harry! Give him his braids or something! Also, Athena's children always had a loving chemistry with her. This young man had ZERO chemistry with her.

As for Buck... Come ON y'all!! Buck had never, ever, shown an interest in men, but now all of a sudden, he likes guys? He has been a skirt chaser from day one, and if he had any interest in men, little hints would have shown before now, so this is really a story that doesn't seem realistic.

  • Debbie - 2 months ago

911 has been my favorite show but this season is very disappointing. I really have not enjoyed any of it ! and after last night with what they did with Buck and Harry's storyline and then the stupid call of woman with the glue at the bachelor's mansion was it for me . So sad to see a great show being ruined !!! someone please step up and save this show before you lose all your viewers !!!

  • Sheebs - 2 months ago

It's one thing to have gay characters in a show, but it's another to try and make straight characters gay. Buck has always been a woman chasing straight man. Every straight person isn't secretly gay. I Don't like this storyline at all. Why Change his sexuality because the networks changed? Bad move 911.

  • Jenn - 2 months ago

Not thrilled about the new season. My hubby said this show jumped the shark. After this I think so too. We're done.

  • LORI JOHNSON - 2 months ago

So far this season has been MEDIOCRE. So disappointed at the direction the storyline is taking. Every characters story not just Buck realizing he has feelings for a man.

  • Maggie - 2 months ago

911 just lost my viewership! I'm done:(

  • Sheryl - 2 months ago

I think the “woke” feeling on 911 is so done and over with. Buck is not gay. Are you trying to pull an April fools day prank? Not funny. Since the channel change the show is going down hill. Stop shoving it down everyone’s throat. Maybe a protest like they did to Budweiser would get the show back to normal. Oh and Maddie tearing up and crying on each call she takes as a dispatcher is so ridiculous. If she were a real dispatcher she would have been let go due to the instability. Dispatchers hold it together much better. And the stomping away from her dispatch desk every time she gets an idiot on the line is a joke. Would have been dismissed for leaving her post.

Okay seriously Buck is not gay never has been gay just throwing random c story lines to fit your agenda so fix it ABC and the writers of 911

  • Den - 2 months ago

ABC is making Thursday night a gay night ruined a good show

  • Michelle - 2 months ago

I'm in full support of representation but this storyline with Buck feels so forced that it was uncomfortable. It would have been better to introduce a new character or give Josh a bigger presence in the show beyond the call center.

  • KW - 2 months ago

I am about to throw the towel in on 9-1-1. It used to be a show about first responders and some crazy things they deal with on a daily basis but now it's turned into a flamboyant mess of epic proportion literally starting the ABC season as a matchup of Die Hard Meets the Poseidon Adventure, and last night morphing into Bachelor v. Top Gun v. Queer Eye.

Over the top storylines and the constant barrage of cramming wokeness aren't doing this once great show any favors. Oh well that's Hollyweird for you.

  • Tam Zach - 2 months ago

Never thought buck was gay or even hinted he was. He's been chasing girls since the beginning of the series. Leave him alone. You don't need to push it in every show.

  • Shane - 2 months ago

Not at all crazy about the recast of Harry and especially didn't like Buck realizing he was gay. Keep this type of writing up and 911 will come to an end as no one will be watching.

I hate the recasting of Harry I was told or read when ABC picked up the show things wasn't going to change just the Network
