The minimum wage hasn't increased for 15 years, it's time. Start with an initial increase of $2./hr with continuing small increases every year. It's progress for the workers and the business owners aren't going out of business

7.25 an hour is not enough to buy a loaf of bread and quart of milk. I understand that increasing minimum wage to $15 would not be beneficial to anyone but a modest increase is needed.

I don’t think so, when a person is making $12/hr and gets a raise to $15/hr, immediately someone making more than $15/hr have their purchasing power decreased because of inflation … when minimum wage goes up by $3/hr only some people make more, most make less

No. Increased minimum wage drives up costs and inflation. Businesses will ALWAYS levy that extra cost/ expense to the consumer as well as promote layoffs and reduced hours and automation like kiosks. There's a bigger underlying problem and increases min wages is a false deceiving way to make Americans think their lives will be easier; it does not.

Perhaps a small increase to say $w10.00 hr. No one can even buy 2gal of gas and 1gsl of milk on 7.25. No one could live on it and min wage was never meant to last.

There shouldn’t even be a minimum wage. Market is always the best indicator.

I think it should be raised gradually. But not to $15/hr. Minimum wage was not intended for people to support a family on it. It’s for entry level positions & then you move up to higher paying positions.

I support gradual increases overtime, as always these increases will be pass over to the customers which is going to increase the cost of living even more!

I think it should be raised at least a little. You'll find very few companies even paying actual federal minimum wage these days.
