I'm disappointed in the elimination of McKenna, I think she has done a fabulous job over Abi. Abi is good, however McKenna was better..
There was great talent this year!
My Personal Rankings and thoughts:
1-Abi-I think she’s going to win and then we’ll never hear from her again.
2-McKenna-Smoky, Raspy, Sexy voice. I feel it’s in her best interest to get eliminated so that she’s not tied to Idol. I think she’ll get snatched up immediately by a record label.
3-Jack-I think he’s the most artistic of the group and gives me Paul Simon vibes.
4-Will-Darkhorse to win the competition only bc he’s a country artist.
5-Julia-Can sing any song but I don’t see her as an artist
6-Triston-Only 15 years old and I feel like he’s just getting shoved through each week bc he’s got a great personality for a kid.
7-Emmy-Should’ve been eliminated weeks ago. No stage presence at all, but she’ll get to finals bc of who her grandma is.
Even though these are my rankings, this isn’t how it’ll go. I have a feeling we’re going to see a finale with either: Abi, Triston, Will or Abi, Will, Emmy (bc of who her family is. She in no way deserves it).
It's a race to the end for Julia, Triston, Jack, Will, and Abi. It's clear as day. Emmy and McKenna are unfortunately still in the way.
I think the voting was about correct. My favorite going into the night seemed content with looking absolutely gorgeous while her competitors sang their ass off. She was fortunate to be saved. Emma Russell’s performance, though not vocally perfect was one of the most sincerely emotional perfirmances I’ve ever seen in in 22 years of AI.
American Idol has turned into country idol. It is difficult to watch this show. Sick and tired of hearing everyones sob stories. It never ends. Contestants singing their own songs when they audition is just pure torture. Will Mosley and allowing dogs to brutally kill a defenseless hog (even if legal in Georgia) is horrific - see the video online. He is not any kind of Idol in my opinion. Abi Carter is the best. She is very current.
Honestly I'm tired of American idol. Let's just call it what it is.. Country Idol. For those of us who aren't country fans watching this show is just torture. Any artist we might potentially like always goes home. Oh and if that artist just happens to be black? They're definitely not going to go through ever. Clearly the racists are voting. I'm over it. Boycotting the show from now on
I fell in love with Julia's voice at her audition singing Aretha Franklin's "Ain't No Way". I was in awe of her vocals. I hope she wins the whole thing!

They are the best. If I had to choose one of them I wish we could have a double winners. But then it wouldn't be American Idol, would it?
