I have never liked the Stabler character and have hoped Olivia would find a soul mate - NOT HIM ! So ending it with a call to Stabler put me off! Come on Benson! Move on! Really hoping the writers don't kindle some kind of romance between the two because that would cause me to stop watching ,after 25 years!
I think the episode overall was fine. The eo phone call at the end was a great sendoff into season 26, and hiatus, but I absolutely cannot get over the lending/giving away of the compass. I understand that it was supposed to be Liv telling the mom that she'll get thru this, but I can't believe that the one piece of hope we had the entire season is gone just like that. And for that I am angry at how this season ended.
