Depending on the item ie cars, cows, etc. both trade and the environment are interchangeable. Yes, perhaps Mr. Coyne has no orther option but alphabet soup with one letter. No name brands are cheaper for a reason. But that is the nature of being a columnist. The Obama parade was a bit mutch even the Queen doesn't get this treatment

Paul, It could also be argued that environmental problems are more quickly tackled using the wealth generated by free bilateral trade.

get a grip you easterners-------Obamas not our friend, he'll leave us just leftovers when he guts the free trade agreement. And you can't blame him, he is looking after his own country first, not like our glorious leaders, who'll sell out to anyone anytime anywhere-------over anything.

IMHO - I don't think people really get it yet.
If there aint no Environment (20%), we really don't have to worry about .the most important issue facing Canada-U.S. relations being Bilateral trade (60%)...
