The Victoria Mayor and council as well as the provincial government are completely out of touch with reality. Personally I recently left Victoria for Parksville , enough was enough, so long Victoria, the once beautiful and safe city is gone down the toilet , Sad
Victoria downtown is dying. I have lived here for 30 years and watch with sadness and shock at the increased violence and ugliness that we citizens are subjected to. As a person who is often in the Pandora area I am frequently verbally harassed and I am often terrified.
Our ‘group of 5’ city councillors seem not to care about any of this and apparently these pandora tenters can do no wrong in their minds. I am tired of writing to city council. I am giving up on our city as a beacon for tourism.
