Susan, I hope this will be helpful. I would be very interested in reading about a mixed culture marriage in China. It would have a good chance, all by itself, to get me to turn the page and maybe many pages. I was on my own and single in Korea and resisted involvement with Korean women because I was afraid of cultural incompatibility so my interest may be skewed. My experience critiquing memoirs is that it is very hard to be faithful to your story and maintain sufficient tension to cause page turning. So I think you have a serious challenge, but your story may have better chances than most.
