Very disappointed to see grace leave, I understand her leaving, but I do think her character should have been replaced with another person, grace’s character is very much so missed. I still feel it can be a good season without her but I don’t feel like it can last outside of this season without grace.

I'm disappointed that the actress decided not to do season 5, but I am glad they didn't kill her off in the show. She's been such a great character that death would have been a terrible story line.
Albeit not the most reasonable storyline, we do know she was a devout church-goer.. so her leaving for a mission is not that hard to grasp. I have a friend that went away for a mission for 2 years leaving her hubby with their 3 children. He handled it like a pro and she came back anf the family is stronger than ever. Also, the story isn't that Grace is gone forever lol just for the course of the season.
Hopefully she'll decide to come back for the series finale..?!

Disappointed highly with Grace’s absence this final season!! She was the ray of sunshine that the show needed and now, it’s extremely upsetting.
If another network picks it up, bring Grace back.

They should have done what many other shows have done. Just replace her with someone new. Having her leave her family, a two year-old and a husband just doesn’t make sense. Wasn’t a good storyline.

How can a true God loving wo!an leave her child and family to go on a humanitarian mission? How selfish and narrow minded of her. God says " take care of your house first .... others! I won't be watching this season !

The actress didn't want to come back because she wanted more money and they didn't come to terms. Her leaving in that way makes no sense whatsoever. I wasn't thrilled with the last season opener.

Can't believe they are ending after 5 short seasons! I Love the original 911 but Lonestar WOW!! So much better, the cast, stories projected and the writers, a perfect combination.
Throwing it all away. If one network doesn't see the value of such greatness why doesn't another pick it up? If actors or actresses want to jump ship, replace them or kill em off but don't play stupid with fans. The Gracie we all grew to love wouldn't leave Judd or Garrett while they were trying to recuperate from a building collapsing on them. She wouldn't leave her two year old daughter for orphans. She would have brought some of those babies to her home. That would have been believable.
Come on networks! Get it together. Don't let this show end! Be the positive pick it up!!!

Didn’t like the premier episode. I am upset that the character Grace won’t be back for this final season. That sucks. Why is nobody saying why she is not coming back to the show? At least they should bring her back for the final 2 or 3 episodes since she has been part of the show for a long time. I don’t think I will be watching it much this season. Not the same without Grace’s character.
