Wilford "Will" Denniston, Penn High School: Will is an academic force. His natural curiosity has him asking insightful questions and participating in classroom discussions that challenge his own thinking as well as his classmates. He has started the year with a determination and understanding of the power of learning. His positive outlook and easygoing nature has his peers looking to him as a role model and leader. This is reinforced in the high standard he holds himself to balancing the demands of being a student as well as a talented member of the Tennis Team.

Shawn Hochstetler, Northridge High School: Shawn is a dedicated NHS Senior, who shares his time and talents inside and outside of the classroom. From his internship as a float bank teller at Lake City Bank to working at LYNC daycare for K-5 students, he’s makes a positive impact on the community. Plus, as the dance captain of the Northern Lights Show Choir and a member of the NHS Theater Troupe, Troupe 8422, he showcases his artistic talents, while also supporting his peers and the programs he is involved in at NHS. Shawn is committeed to Grace College for the Fall of 2026 where he will be pursuing a degree in Accounting.

Shogofa Tanai, Adams High School: Shogofa is super motivated to learn English; She stays after school for 9th hour help in the library just about every day and is always interested in learning from her mistakes on quizzes and tests. She has blossomed in the last two years since she started school here at Adams High School and always tries to answer verbal questions even if she thinks she might make a mistake. Amazing and personable. A pleasure to have in class.
