Going through five to NINE rounds of hour-long interviews, only to be completely ghosted at the end. Happened six times (at six different companies) since June of 2023. If you won't even send an automated "thanks but we hired someone else" email then I definitely dodged a bullet not getting hired, but come on...

The worst HR action in the last 3 years was the continuous not backfilling people when they leave and distribution of the work to the people who remain until they burn out. a visious cycle.
