Casey Russell and Evelyn Pfeffer, Sandy Valley cross country: Russell ran a 18:56 to win the Division III district title, and teammate Pfeffer was fourth with a 19:31 to lead the Cardinals to a third-place team finish. The top four teams advanced to the regional meet.
Kali Wallace, Claymont cross country: She ran a 19:14 to finish second at the Division III district meet and earn a spot in regionals.
Sydney Stevenson, Dover cross country: She placed eighth with a time of 19:51 at the Northeast District Division I meet to advance to the regional meet.
Camryn Ianniello, Garaway golf: She shot a two-day total of 156 to place tied for fourth in the Division II girls state tournament to earn first-team All-Ohio.
Sidney Vandall, New Philadelphia volleyball: She notched a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs (and chipped in five aces) as the Quakers beat Steubenville, 3-1, in the Division III sectional tournament.
Caroline Hanner, Dover volleyball: She had 13 kills, one block and one dig in the Tornadoes 3-0 win vs. Tri-Valley in the Division III sectional tournament.
Chloe Beach, Hiland soccer: She knocked in four goals as the Hawks opened the postseason with a 6-2 win vs. Fairless.
Seri Blickensderfer, Dover soccer: She scored her first varsity goal from 30 yards out as the Tornadoes beat New Phila to open Division III tournament play.
