My husband & I have been married since June, 2012. He voted for Obama that year. I was shocked but thought he was entitled to his opinion. His parents from NC were lifelong democrats & so was he. He has always respected my choices & I did the same.
He hasn’t voted since 2012, in his opinion he’d rather stay home because he supported no one.He can’t stand Obama & was ashamed he voted for him.
He IS voting this year & can’t stand Kamala. I haven’t pressed to find out how he’s voting but I’m 99.9% SURE it isn’t for Kamala. His job as a broker has really took a big hit.

Luckily my husband and I are in agreement politically as I personally don’t think I could be married to a Dem. I do know of a few couples on opposite sides who seem to be happy. Go figure.

Yes my parents did. I think it is harder today with all the divisiveness of the democrats but I want to believe that it is still possible.

Of course couples can stay together if they vote differently. If not, it sounds like more of a liberal problem

They can vote differently however they must be truthful, respectful regarding each other’s opinions and choices.

Well im glad my wife is republican like me. I cant see how it would work otherwise. At least not now not this time.

We started out on different sides because my husband was a union man and Democrats and unions went hand in hand, back in the day. But being the strong woman I am, I convinced my hubby a few years back that the Democrat party was not the same Democrat party of his dad's generation. Been married 44 blessed years and looking forward to many more! Conversion is possible everyone!!!

I’m the Republican and my husband the Democrat. We cannot discuss politics he has TDS. I pray someday he wakes up or gets a brain scan.

My husband and I have been married for 51 years. We have both changed a lot since we’ve been married but love is deep and often is called to be blind. I am the republican and he the democrat. it used to be the other way around years ago! We can’t discuss politics in depth or it gets heated. I really don’t understand how anyone as wonderful as he is could vote democratic. I put
Him in Gods hands and pray someday he sees the truth!

It's pretty tough to do.my wife and I are on 2 totally different sides of it. She is a bleeding heart liberal and I am a staunch conservative. I love DJT and she can't stand even to look at him. I enjoy debating politics and she can't function in that regard without going to an emotional meltdown. I love my wife. Been married 48 years.
