Trevor Wendt, Mishawaka High School: Trevor is senior football player who has been playing since his freshmen year. He always maintains a positive attitude in the classroom and on the field. He is a leader and one of the hardest workers in the weight room during class. His character represents the "Cavemen Way." We are glad he is a Caveman.

Jocelyn Jones, Adams High School: Jocelyn's passion for soccer shines through in everything that she writes, yet she also strives to be a balanced student. Jocelyn is always willing to help out her teammates and other students. She maintains a GPA that is very close to 4.0 and is unfailingly attentive to her responsibilities at school. Along with excelling in Advanced Placement Courses, Jocelyn is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate.

Curtis Knight, Elkhart High School Freshman Division: Curtis is the kind of student every teacher wants in their classroom. He is kind and thoughtful, eager to learn and strives to do his best. He maintains high grades and demonstrates the characteristics of a lifelong learner. He is curious, intelligent and good-natured. He lives with his parents and a younger sister. He loves his pets and takes excellent care of them. He enjoys playing video games and being outdoors.

William Douglas, Riley High School: Although we may be living in questionable times, one thing is certain! William should be commended for his scholarly contributions in this community! William is currently a 21st Century Scholar, Gear Up South Bend Scholar and faithfully serves as a student ambassador in the Gentlemen and Scholars Mentorship Program. Not only is William involved in the above activities, he is a scholarly athlete, holding membership on Riley High School's football, wrestling and track teams. He is literally the cream of the crop, demonstrating academic excellence as an honor roll student, since beginning school! William is undoubtedly a highlight in the city of South Bend!
