I hope I'm wrong, but I kept getting the impression that Chock (such an affected name) was there to win...get paid for more episodes, emerge the alpha male of the pack. I knew she would go for a tall, white guy, but he may not be all we think he is. How is an insurance agent from Wichita, Kansas, going to afford an apartment in New York (that he presumably hasn't actually rented yet), especially one that suburban Joan with the private-school job would think was fit to live in? Speaking of which...we saw him "at home" on somebody else's ranch. It's also odd that that's where he planted a tree in his mother's memory. Why couldn't we see his house? Plus, I saw somewhere that he worked out with a personal trainer to lose 50 pounds before the show...admirable, but was that just for the show? Will he let go after the win and put back the pounds, now that he won? He was always too much, too soon...wouldn't be surprised if they don't marry.
