Mel and Jack filling an infertility void via adoption is so disappointing and propels an outdated, harmful narrative. What happen to the Virgin River that kept Lily with her baby at all costs? That’s the Virgin River and real community that I liked. Marley being separated from her baby is a Have vs. Have-nots story that ignores the fact that a baby knows, loves and needs its natural mother, and furthers this debunked blank slate baby idea. Virgin River should keep a woman and child together through community support and family preservation, helping them through tough times instead of creating a lifetime of agony for Marley and down playing that unspeakably painful separation experience. Mel might not ‘get’ the baby she wants. Her and Jack will have to be enough. I really hope the show can learn some vocabulary for the truth of the adoption world.

Absolutely love this show!! Found it (new to Netflix) and binged watched it but now I'm sad having to wait for next season lot

Was totally into Virgin River and binge watched all the way through. ……… however,
Season 6 was disappointing in so many ways. I even got to the point where I did not like Mel. Her treatment of Doc was atrocious and the way she fawned over a man who had deliberately ignored her while groveling in his own self pity is beyond disgusting. The over hyped wedding was a BIG disappointment to me. The worst thing being Jack’s long stringy hair while being dressed in a Marine uniform that is unkept and obviously straight out of moth balls.????. Don’t think I will even tune in for Peyton Place, Season 7

As I just found Virgin River, I BINGED! Loved the show, the chemistry the scenery. The story lines are great, current issues & informative.
The wedding horse ???? ride getaway was a bit too much. All else was believable. PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOE COMINH

Great show, we've followed it from season one. This season seemed slower for.some.reason though. Can't put my finger on any one reason, but season six just slowed down.

I really loved this show..but I hate being in suspense when we have wait so long for nxt season..but I guess we're going have good surprise...can't wait to find out about mel mom why she died and about her father..

I absolutely love this show and couldn’t wait for season 6. I was disappointed so much time was spent on Mel’s parents when there are so many loved characters that we would have loved to see more of! I can’t stand Mel’s father. I love everyone else and can’t wait for the next season!!!!

First off Charmaine was not an ex-fiance. Just an ex-girlfriend. No matter what Jack sees it will be painful. Just hope it's not the twins...could be Charmaine beat up and twins gone because of Calvin. We shall see!
