They should ALL go to Guantanamo Bay. They broke the law! We don’t know if they are violent or not. If they know that if they come here illegally, they will end up at Guantanamo Bay, maybe they will think twice about coming here illegally. FAFO.

I think Guantanamo Bay should only be used for criminally violent illegals until they can be released back to their homeland. Non-violent illegals should not be treated so harshly, they do not deserve to be exposed to the danger of the violent criminals or harsh conditions. Most are just looking for a better life. There should be a holding shelter for the truly non-violent during the interview and transitioning process. I'm not opposed to illegals staying as long as they go through legal processing to become a law abiding and contributing citizen. Absolutely no freebies or handouts.

It should be ONLY the violent criminals.
And they need to be treated as such.
Ordinary criminals like b&e, dui, etc definitely need to be separately held.

Only the violent criminals, BUT, the place should Not have any special accommodations. Should be minimal and disgusting just like the cells the J6 prisoners had to deal with, nasty.

They should be sent back, not imprisoned in a place like Guantanamo Bay!

I think it should be used for those who have committed violent crimes. It would lesson the overcrowding at other detention and immigration centers to be used for those non-violent offenders who simply crossed over illegally. They should ALL be deported back to their home countries and if they want to immigrate, then do it legally.

Send them all there for staging.

If their country of origin receives US aid, then charge them $1 million for more or each one at Gitmo for room and board

Unless they're actual criminals that would be in jail I would say no . That is meant for prisoners not people who just cross over our country legally that's extreme place to put them. I'm all for sending them back and deporting them but we need to do it humanely otherwise we're no better than they are.

Qualifier: Only criminally violent people who cannot be deported to their home country.
