Maybe the USA should make it a military base. We’re always over there all the time anyways. ????????????????

Not a good idea. Could be Trump is being influenced by his son in law, Kushner.
Keep the US out of Gaza where we don't belong.
Trumps focus should be in cleanjng up the mess left over by Mr. Magoo & restoring stability in our beloved Country.
4 years is not enough time to do what needs to be done!!

From the images of Gaza it is actually destroyed & needs to be rebuilt - no one should even be living there. Offering to standby & help with the rebuild efforts is smart. Critics say displacing close to 2 million people is a human rights issue, but Israel already has control of Gaza & many are already displaced. It's the holdouts harboring the Hamas terrorists who think they can regain control. We could use it a training opportunity for our troops in rebuilding our military forces. Yes that area is fraught with religious contentions and will always be but those Palestinians need to move either to Egypt or back to Syria, Lebanon, Jordan where many do coexist with Muslim populations & Jewish people. Look at when Jerusalem was destroyed many times over throughout the Bible & up to modern times. No body is saying they can't come back in the future but they have to be vetted and they need to have skin in the game. Not have ill will & harbor terrorists who will ruin it for them yet again. Obviously we know that the antichrist is going to come back and broker false peace & rebuild the temple to make his demands. But that time is not now, as we're in the birth pangs. But in no way am I saying I know the hour or day, no one knows but the Father and Jesus could come back tomorrow. But I think Trump is just being friend to Israel and offering to help in their rebuilding efforts.

Mean it or not, it would most likely be a waste of $$$ and time as DML reported. It seems you can’t reason w/the mindset of this culture.

It’s a negotiating tactic by Trump. He is just putting pressure on Saudia Arabia, Jordan and Egypt to step up and take part in rebuilding Gaza.

This bold concept needs significant consideration. President Trump’s proposal reflects his desire to achieve prosperity & peace; history proves that a fresh approach is needed. Given exemplary leadership, if anyone can achieve it, he can. this makes sense. Why would some countries find this leading to instability? On the other hand, one questions why the US should put itself right in the middle of a hotbed of conflicts entrenched in history.

The US government could take over the rebuilding of the Gaza Strip without actually “owning “ the strip. President Trump can also help create economic stability by turning the area into the “Riviera of the Middle East.” Hamas must be routed out and terminated so they can no longer destabilise the area!
