One of these is the 2024 JOTY. The other is an appropriately-seeded Tumble.
This is a good tumble. But is it even close to beating this monster drive? No. My friend and I were going back and forth on a last minute road trip to cap N1, we ended up streaming instead and that is one of my biggest regrets of the year. Cotters first jam, and it is just fantastic. I have it ranked 3 overall on my top 64
Great Tumble and probably under seeded. But this Drive is something else. Potential winner of the whole thing. MONSTER. Give the Tumble some love though.
Listened to this Drive probably dozens of times this past year. Top 5 JOTY no question.
This Drive cannot be denied! In a year of great jams it stays at the top.
I know this Drive will win, but damn... this Tumble is fantastic (dare I say I like it as much as Philly). Wish they weren't paired up against each other so early. Definitely give this Tumble a spin... even if your vote is for Drive!
With all the questions about what was going to happen to the band in the end of 2023. Man these boys came out of the gate flying! First jam of the year and Cotters first live jam as a member, who would have thought it would be a best of the year candidate. Wheewwwy!!
Do not kid yourself. The cap drive is the JOTY. First jam of 2024 and they it still hits harder every time you listen to it
Just listened this morning to 4/7 drive. I think it might be my new frontrunner (bold i know for 1 seed ;) ) but yeah I remember turning to the person sitting next to me at the CAP and saying "i think we are going to be just fine with Cotter" after that one.
