Not even the best Madhuvan in this bracket. Dark doesn't do much for me. Arrow moves forward in my bracket.
Honestly geographic location of jam matters little to me. The fact is this song follows the same Madhuvan formula we've all come to expect:
[Song: 8mins] [diddling around on instruments 3-4mins] [jam of indeterminate length] [conclusion, 2-3mins]
Every year, same thing - you guys exalt over some Madhuvan that's so gloriously dissonant, so dark but also triumphant in the end. And oh yeah, it's really long, so it must be good! We get it, it's your favorite jam vehicle. But if you're really honest with yourself is this *jam* really that different than any of the other myriad of dark-ish Madhuvans out there? To me, the answer is no and I'd see it losing to Philly Tumble, Cap Drive, or Cap Myst.
That being say, in this round against this song, it wins easily.
Everyone complaining that the madhuvan only gets votes because it's in CO or attendance bias are just upset that this jam blows all of their favorite jams clean out of the water and is just flat out better. I watched this from my couch in Pennsylvania and I wouldn't give a shit if they played this madhuvan at the sewage plant in Akron Ohio, it moves on 10/10 times
Couch streamed the Madhuvan and was blown away. It’s been near the top of my ranks and relistens ever since and should cruise to the final four.

Was about to say exactly what Chris said! 2025s > Fiddlehuvan > Trout Arrow (love Arrow jams - thought Cincy , Cap (overshadowed in crazy N4) and SPAC, let alone ATL of course were better than this one)
The Holmdel Madhuvan is better, but this one is good too.

I really like this Arrow. I think this Madhuvan is overrated and is surpassed by both Milwaukee and GR (not relevant for this vote but just stating my opinion). Still, I’m going Mad here. Not my JOTY, but head to head it’s the better one here. And I’m sure it’ll win this round easily even if I went with Arrow.

My vote for Arrow here is really a protest vote for Nashville Myst which i had in my Sweet 16. I don't care of the Madhuvan at all but to each their own.
Fiddlers Madhuvan is my JOTY it also could be the best Madhuvan ever. A few good ones lately challenge it but this Madhuvan is incredible. This Arrow is good but on a different tier than this Madhuvan in my opinion.
