We should remain on Standard Time. High noon (sun directly overhead) should be 12:00! I mean whoever heard of the villain in Wild West days arranging a gunfight on Main Street at High One?!!

Standard time, the way god intended it

I would like to have Standard Time made permanent. I want the sunlight in the morning! I also believe this is the way our bodies are programmed.

I agree, pick one and stick with it. However, if DST is picked, I say move school start and end times back an hour, that would be better for the kids.

I live in AZ and we don’t change either way. So I’m undecided. My parents live in NM and because of the “spring forward” they are now an hour later than me.

Definitely standard. Our circadian clocks are set to standard and have bern for thousands of years. We shouldn't have to live by an artificially set time. This is also why everyone is sleep.deprived and tired all the time.

I don't care if it's DST or Standard time, just quit switching it.

Personally i could care less, its how i grew up and i am totally used to it. The sun comes up and the sun goes down and by changing the time is just flesh, Time is not man made but we think we can alter it to appease the few

I read that farmers prefer Standard time. It is hard for milking cows and harvesting crops with the changes for farm workers. I stand with the farmers, whatever they choose. After all, we need food to live so why make it hard for them. Doesn’t make sense to me.

Would like one or the other, personally more light in morning for school children mothers, just make it permanently, this changing hard on everyone.

I prefer the old Standard Time. I don’t like seeing children standing on the side of roads waiting for the school bus! Dangerous!!I believe we have always awakened with the sun and went to bed accordingly. Our bodies are designed that way. When the government decided to change things I believe is when issues began. As with everything they decide to change or control it causes harm in one way or another. I fail to see how the woman from Alabama says less heart attacks and strokes?? What does that have any bearing upon heart attacks and strokes?? Less auto accidents?? Seriously?? We always planned our days according to the sun. Sun comes up wake up go to school and work. Sun goes down we are inside at home and preparing for bed and the next day. Normal cycle. I think those who want it DST are literally trying to cram too much in a day. I know from experience when it doesn’t get dark until almost 9 pm it’s harder to round everyone up and get them calmed and ready for bed. Too over stimulated. Just my experience as an older woman who raised five children and watching the chaos my children are having raising theirs.

Agree Joan and Nan. Just pick one … I live in Arizona. We don’t change the time. I get tired of figuring what time my family back East is on right now.

Definitely agree with Joan! Just pick one and stick to it! The media can remind us to change batteries in smoke detectors instead of resetting clocks.

I prefer staying on DST but for goodness sakes! Pick one-I don’t care. Just pick one and stick with it. Changing clocks twice a year is stupid!
