Ouch. I love Banshees, it's McDonagh's best (I said it) and most mature work. But I mean, come on. Margaret is a sly masterpiece, a personal moral dilemma that slowly unfolds into a much bigger, downright apocalyptic cry against the futility of the post-9/11 US landscape.
Not even a question! Banshees is great, but Margaret is a triumph and if Kenny Lonergan doesn't make it into March Madness... I'll still listen and play along but I won't feel happy about it!
