Oppenheimer has suffered in subsequent viewing, while Fury Road remains perfect. Riding with Furiosa for another few rounds.

Oppenheimer is an absolutely impressive cinematic achievement, but it's a comprehensible one and you can make a solid argument that it's telling one story too many. Fury Road is filmmaking so epic that even geniuses like Soderbergh can't even fathom how George Miller did it. I'd happily cut an hour from Oppenheimer and still feel satisfied. I wouldn't cut a single second from Fury Road.

People, the Wasteland denizens have already survived the apocalypse. There's nothing Oppenheimer can offer that they haven't already overcome. WITNESS THEM.
