I do not have any doubt , a masterpiece for me ( In the Mood ...) , the sublimation of melodrama in cinema , so subtle ,deep and visually mesmerizing . It produced in me tenderness and pain all at once when I watched it. A clear example of how Asian cinema has been able in the last decades to provide us unforgettable and beautiful stories.

Another direct hit in the heart of a matchup, but fortunately Dink's Song exists outside of the world of the film and it can remind me of that story about a singin' man and a cat that I heard once or twice after Llewyn Davis hits the incinerator.

This is absolute bullshit that these two are up against each other...but I swore to Oscar Isaac I would vote for him here since I didn’t in Ex Machina. I love both of these films so much, but a promise is a promise.

This was the toughest one for this round for me. Both are movies I'd consider for a personal top 10 of all time. I finally went In the Mood for Love, but easily could have gone the other way, for what I consider the Coens' most personal film. The Vertigo of their filmography if you will.
