Children of Men should last as long in the tourney as that in car one-er.

    so Elite 8?

Children of Men is my ride or die in this madness.

I agree with commenter Jonathan Anderson "I'd like to make it clear to the universe that I'm not voting against Batman, I'm voting against Christopher Nolan". Well said!

My vote against the overly serious Dark Knight, goes to the larger scheme of knocking Christopher Nolan out of Madness, completely! I am horrified that there are still 4 NOLAN FILMS left in Madness-Oppenheimer, Memento, Interstellar and The Dark Knight. Enough of self important male leads, feigned intellectualism and overblown runtimes. This needs to be rectified! Vote out Nolan now!

Sorry for this unpopular opinion, but I need to speak my truth during Madness!

Children of Men gets richer with the rewatches, and Dark Knight falls apart (character choices, plot contrivances, tension offered as a substitute for emotional stakes, instead of a heightening of them). Plus the set pieces and action in Children of Men (yep) are better. A shutout on my scorecard.

Every round I like to vote for some underdog that is about to get steamrolled and this round, it's Children of Men, a book I loved before it was an even better movie that I loved, a movie so much for our moment now, nearly 20 years after the movie that I can't overlook that part of it either.

Let’s be honest here: The Dark Night has some 3rd act issues.

I'd like to make it clear to the universe that I'm not voting against Batman, I'm voting against Christopher Nolan.
