Oh boy! Another round of drowning my favourite kittens.

If you asked me who my two favorite directors are, I think I would say Hayao Miyazaki and the Coen Brothers. And if you asked me my favorite movie from each, I would tell you Spirited Away and No Country for Old Men. So, this SHOULD be the hardest possible match-up in the tournament for me...and yet, only one of these films changed my life, and that film is Spirited Away.

Let's Go Miyazaki! Love No Country, but Spirited Away is a more singular achievement and we need to keep some animation in here.

No Country will be in the final

*Heavy sigh* It's only a mild exaggeration to say that it feels like I'm somehow on Chigurh's side by voting against Spirited Away. I love both of these films for completely different reasons, so it also feels just as arbitrary as any of those coin flips. Such is the Madness.
