Should Congress members be allowed to trade stocks while serving in office?

There used to be a law against trading but they snuck it out in middle of the night from something I read a few years ago. Anyway they don’t follow the laws they put on us. It’s time for Term Limits on all including judges!

I would extend no trading to immediate family including children, parents & in-laws.

Maybe they should be allowed to, but with limits?
If they show a history of previously trading, restricting them from it while serving may discourage otherwise excellent patriots from running for office.

Some restrictions would be good. Reports of all stocks traded would restore confidence. Bible verse-
Shun the very appearance of evil.

They should not be able to buy stocks while in office because they make the laws and have more information than John Q Public. How do you think Nancy Pelosi got so rich...first hand knowledge before anyone else.

No, they should not! This is the main problem with the corruptions down in Washington DC.
The reason the Country is in the mess we are in
Now. 99% lawyers, licensed to steal and be corrupted! ,
