In a sane world this would be the final matchup, alas this is madness.
But to say that ITMFL gets smaller with each viewing is such a false claim, easily proven by the fact that the last time that film was in this tournament, it was beaten by the pesky dark knight. Look how far we have come Maggie and Tony!

Definitely the toughest matchup of this round.

For David! *charges into battle against In the Mood for Love fans who are probably perfectly nice people*

This is a no-brainer. Mulholland Drive is a masterpiece and the rightful winner of this whole tournament. It’s a film that surpasses the expectations of what a movie mystery can be.
In the mood for love is maybe stylish, but a completely empty experience. It gets smaller with every new viewing.

The toughest so far from me! Both so hypnotic and special as Lynch and WKW’s ultimate films respectively. The only way I can keep my sanity in this decision is to know that Blue Velvet will still exist when Maggie and Tony lock the doors to Club Silencio forever :(
