Cooper McGowan (Ellsworth) - Cooper is a hard worker that was a key player for our team this season. 50% (10,464 votes)
Aiden Aschenbrenner (Ellis) - Aiden had an incredible season. He led our team in almost every category and always competed. He is a leader and will do anything he can to help the team win. So proud of his season! 30% (6,243 votes)
Brycen Palmquist (Council Grove) - Brycen is second leading scorer in Council Grove's history surpassing 1,000 points this year, and has set a steal record that I'd be surprised if it ever got touched. He led the team in multiple statistical categories including scoring (19ppg), rebounds (6.7rpg), and steals (4.2spg). He also averaged 2.8 assists per game. Brycen has had numerous accolades regarding basketball. For the second year in a row he is first team all league (unanimous decision), he has been selected to multiple media outlets various all-state teams since his soph. season, and he has been selected to play in the Flint Hills Optimist All-Star game this year which will be held in Emporia at White Auditorium. Academically, Brycen is just a strong as he is on the court. He currently has a 4.06 GPA and is ranked 1st in his class. Brycen volunteers within our community as well and is just a wonderful person! 8% (1,745 votes)
London Burton (Saint Thomas Aquinas) - London is a Rockhurst University Commit and was the top of the list for opponent's scouting reports. London was also a 1st team ALL EKL selection along with being selected to be a Kansas representative in the KC Metro (Direnna) All Star game. London was a team captain this year while averaging 15.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 steals. 6% (1,176 votes)
Jack Herd (South Central) - Jack has been one of the best players in the state all year. He has led us in 4 statistical categories while leading his team to a current 20-2 record. Jack averages 17.1 ppg. He also averages 7.8 rebounds, 4.0 assist, and 1.8 steals. At 6'4 Jack plays inside and out and can guard all 5 positions on the floor. He is a great leader and competitor. 4% (917 votes)
Donte Masqua (Horton) - Donte was the leader of our team. One of the most coachable, hard working, and best post players I have coached in 25+ years. What made Donte great is the fact he was such an unselfish player. He valued assists and rebounds more than getting his own points. A true team player that did everything he could to make his teammates better. In addition, Donte is a great kid and will be successful at whatever career he may pursue. 2% (500 votes)
Carter Burnett (Wellington) - Carter is a gifted athlete. At 6'5", Carter uses his height and length to cause havoc on the defensive end. Offensively he's great at finishing around the rim and has had some explosive dunks this year. <1% (78 votes)
Maddex Moreno (West Elk) - Maddex was our team leader both on and off the court. Maddex works on his game year round. His most important stat his team wins. He averaged 20.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.7 steals per game. <1% (12 votes)
