Do you believe Trump's visit to the Middle East was a good idea?

Let's answer the question directly: If Trump had just spent these trip days hopping from one ME country to another doing ostensibly nothing other than sharing brief tete-a-tetes over tea with these leaders, the trip would have been 1000% worth it. But, actually, he did so much more by literally "showing the US flag" and, at the same time, overtly making both his intellectual and physical mobility unmistakably visible... not just in the Middle East, but around the globe.

Although the effort is commendable hoping for peace and investments, the Middle East is not to be trusted. The goal of the Muslims is domination, and the infidel either converts or dies. And look at what they did to the reporter years ago because of his opinions. I can’t remember his name, but he was from the Arab community.

Hi, I lived in Kuwait for 30 years. I moved back in 2017 but I had a wonderful life there and the people were great. I was very successful and enjoyed every minute of it except for the summer heat. true there are pockets of very bad people, but that’s true any place in the world.
And the radicals do consider us infidels. But the people I surrounded myself with and had friendships with for the most kind giving people I know. And they love Americans. I’ve visited Qatar Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Oman Bahrain, and the people were wonderful.
I totally understand your concerns because of 911 but I have different thoughts on how that all went down. Just saying.
Love you and your family and I hope Mary is doing well

I fully agree Margo. I don’t trust the Middle East because most don’t recognize judao Christian values. Muslims value the Koran that states clearly that those that don’t comply to its ideology should be ostracized. Don’t forget who was behind 911 resulting in the loss of 3300 American lives. Investment is one thing as long as it doesn’t give them an in as a shareholder or workforce commitment. America first or MAGA.

If in the name of peace & financial strength among nations, then yes. But don’t be blinded by the fact that money is control.
