My son was let go after 19 years as a senior director in the tech field because they want to outsource some positions. He had 50 direct reports and they wanted to outsource some of them too. This is wrong on so many levels. He’s only in his 40’s with a wife and 3 kids. As part of his salary he was given stock over the years but a lot of it wasn’t vested yet so he lost over 1/2 million in stock.
