If I’m understanding correctly what you mean by "digital physical therapy tool”, then yes. I’ve had a couple of PTs direct me to a website for more details on their recommended exercises. I especially like those that I can pull up on my iPhone as it’s easier to do those exercisers each day.
I have also consulted same sites on my own when I sense I might have an issue before I call for a PT evaluation and appointment so i can try and stave off an ‘official’ appointment. My goal is always to ‘fix myself’!! :)

I have used Hinge Health on and off for the last year for lower back pain. It is very convenient to use, the motion sensors that they send seemed to be pretty accurate. I do feel better after doing the ~10-minute sessions. It is a covered benefit from my wife's employer.

I did in a lead up to a hip replacement and afterwards. It was frustrating and I gave up quickly especially when compared to in person
The app had all sorts of gotchas with camera angles that did not work, lack of visible instruction while trying to follow exercises and sloowwww

Digital physical therapy tools sound like such a great idea for many reasons. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
