For someone that loves going to the beach and has a reaction to the sun and really needs something to block the sun from effecting my skin I don’t agree with this.

The tents look like a 3rd world country. Ocean city is already suffering due to the Democratic State rules. Ocean City needs to get back to Fun and Family Moral values. Rhe next step would be to put some clothing on the young and older visitors.

I'm confused as what a roof anchor is. On Amazon I see the sand or water bags that attach to the poles. Anyone know what they are?

The WORST tents are the “bubble” , round kinds open only in the front, AND the sloping ones, open in the front, blocking out the sea view totally for everyone behind them. Some inconsiderate fools set up a 18’X18’ tent and only a couple with a baby in a stroller under that huge area. IT’S ONLY A QUESTION OF TIME BEFORE FIGHTS ON THE BEACH ARE GOING TO START ON THIS ISSUE.

Umbrellas present more of a public danger than tents. Restrict the size of tents instead of banning tents completely.

Ocean City should not ban the smaller tents. I personally do not use a tent anymore, too hard to put up. Most of my brothers and sisters, 5 different families go to Ocean City every year and we have done this for over 30 years. My one brother who has fought cancer twice puts 2 tents together for his wife and family. He sets it up around the middle section of the beach and my siblings usually sit in front and on the sides of him. They all use umbrellas. To me the tents are safer, I have not seen a tent blow down the beach, but I have seen numerous beach umbrellas take off. I really think it is a mistake to ban all tents. Will the tents that are for babies be banned also? That will be a huge mistake.
