For nearly thirty (30) years, we have bought almost ALL of our cars / trucks / vans at the Washington State Surplus Vehicle Auctions. High mileage? Sure, but they've been well-maintained. And they're cheap enough so that if you ever have a really major (read=EXPENSIVE) problem with one, sell it for parts and go buy another one! Check out your own state's surplus vehicle auctions.
